A hands-on approach to ESG standards.
We foster a pragmatic approach to ESG standards:
An annual ESG assessment for investments, established via a methodology adapted specifically for SMEs and developed in collaboration with the School of Management Fribourg.
The implementation of quantifiable ESG improvement measures through shareholder commitment within the Board of Directors.
An annual ESG and CO2 report for investors.
A concrete and quantifiable methodology at the heart of Renaissance’s ESG commitment
Our ESG rating tool, developed in partnership with the Renaissance Foundation according to ISO-26000 standards, allows us to evaluate the “E”, “S” and “G” components of each portfolio company in a quantifiable and systematic way. Using this tool, Renaissance implements concrete measures to improve ESG performance and provides complete ESG reporting, including an assessment of the carbon footprint to its investors.
Prof. Dr. Philipp Aerni, Director for the Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS) at the School of Management Fribourg.
